Genital Warts Symptoms-Painless, flesh-colored or
grayish-white growths on the outside or inside of
the vagina, around the cervix, around the anus,
scrotum, or penis that may develop a
cauliflower-like appearance. Condyloma Symptoms-
Growths in these areas that are itchy or mildly
sore.
Call Your Doctor if you develop any of these
symptoms; although genital warts are harmless,
they are contagious and require medical
treatment. He may prescribe one of our genital
wart treatments are merely accumulations of
normal skin that have no medical significance;
about 1 in 100 men has these sexually transmitted
disease. But because genital warts are
contagious, you should see a doctor if you
discover any such growths for the proper
cure.

Although the gentital warts are
harmless in themselves, there appears to be some
link between genital warts and cervical cancer.
Several studies have shown that 90% of women who
have cervical cancer also had genital warts. This
doesn't mean cancer is inevitable from a sexually
transmitted disease, but if you have genital
warts you should have a Pap smear at least once a
year to check for cell changes that could signal
the development of cancer. Ask your doctor
whether you should have a Pap smear more often if
you have a sexually transmitted disease.
Certainly ask him for the proper medicine to cure
you.

If you think you have Human
Papilloma Virus, you need professional help. Your
doctor may want to take a biopsy (a small sample
of the sexually transmitted disease tissue) to
determine for sure whether the lesion is a
genital wart treatment caused byt the Human
Papilloma Virus. Tests to determine the subtype
of the HPV or sexually transmitted disease are
sometimes recommended. If you are a woman and are
diagnosed with gentital warts, make sure to be
tested for cervical irregularities. An annual Pap
test is very important-remeber there is no cure.
You may also need an exam with a colposcope, a
device used to microscopically inspect the
vaginal walls and cervix for abnormal cells; and
this can help diagnose condyloma and help to cure
the symptoms..
What Are the sexually transmitted
disease Treatments?
There is no cure and no vaccine
for genital warts. Human Papilloma Virus cannot
be removed from the body. Sexually transmitted
disease treatment focuses on removing visible
gentital warts. However, even after visible
gentital warts are removed, the virus remains in
your body and may cause outbreaks again in the
future. Also, treatments may or may not decrease
your risk of passing genital warts to someone
else.

Because gentile wart treatment
doesn't actually change the course of the
infection, it's not necessarily required. To
decide whether you want to have gentital warts
removed, talk with your doctor about the risks
and benefits in your individual situation.
IMPORTANT! If you are pregnant or
planning to have a baby, you should talk with
your doctor about getting treatment to avoid
HPV-related gentile wart complications and to
avoid passing HPV to your baby with STD's. Also,
make sure your doctor knows that you are pregnant
before he or she prescribes STD's medication for
your gentital warts; some medications for
gentital warts may cause birth defects.
Don't attempt to get rid of
genital warts with over-the-counter remedies for
STD's. The genital area is too sensitive for
these products and you could damage your skin.
Instead, see your doctor, who may prescribe a
medicine for you to apply to the gentital warts
or STD's or may administer one of a number of
treatments himself or herself. Medicines that you
can apply to genetial wart include podophyllum,
which kills the genetial wart tissue, or a cream
that stimulates your immune system to fight the
virus to rid the body of the genetial wart. Your
doctor may decide to apply podophyllum rather
than give you a prescription or may use another
medicine called tricholoroacetic acid (TCA).
Other options include freezing the gentital warts
with liquid nitrogen, cauterizing them with heat
or a laser, or removing the genetial wart
surgically. Whatever method you and your doctor
choose, you will probably need several treatments
to get rid of the genetial wart completely.

Prevention
The best way to prevent Gentile
Warts is to use condoms (also for STD's) . If
your partner discovers a wart, insist that he or
she see a doctor, and if the gentital warts prove
to be sexually transmitted, get tested yourself
-- even if you have no symptoms of STD's.
What Causes STD's?
Gentile Warts are caused by the
human papilloma virus, or HPV, the same virus
that causes gentital warts on the hands, feet,
and face. The virus lives inside your body's
cells, where it replicates; eventually the virus
breaks out of its original host cell to infect
other cells.
Because there are over 50 strains
of the sexually transmitted disease that causes
genetial wart (HPV human papilloma virus), we

HPV virus picture. If this is your first time
